1. By accessing or using the www.idfurniture.co.nz web site, you agree to the terms of the ID furniture Ltd. Policy, as outlined below. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use this site.

2. Payments made by check should be made out to “ID Furniture Ltd”.   Should you wish to make a money transfer, please contact our sales team. Payments made via check or transfer will need to be cleared before goods can be despatched.

3. Goods can be delivered as quickly as the following day. Custom orders can be delivered within a period of 8-12 weeks.  

4. ID Furniture Ltd shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver products directly or indirectly by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. 

5. We recommend that you check the dimensions of access points to your home before ordering large items of furniture. You are responsible for determining that merchandise will fit through doorways, staircases, corridors and lifts. Dimensions for our products are listed with the product description.

6. Returned purchases are entitled to store credits only.  Delivery and shipping fees are nontransferable credits.

7. If the item has been shipped, and upon immediate inspection, after removal from packing materials, there is damage, then the customer must contact ID Furniture Ltd immediately and ship the goods back for an exchange. If the item was damaged from the shipping carrier, via clear evidence of damage on the box or crate, the customer must deal with the shipping agent exclusively themselves.

8. If the customer is dissatisfied with the item based on a aesthetic issue, sizing, or inter- party dispute or dissatisfaction, etc., then the item may be returned for a store credit that will be issued at 65% of price value, after one week of sale only. The customer is responsible for, in full, all delivery and shipping fees associated with this type of transaction. 

9. If you wish to return or exchange your purchase you must notify us within 7 days of receipt.   Please put your notice of Return or Exchange in writing by letter, fax or email.   Please note that we do not offer a free returns service. We do not refund the return postage cost or the original delivery charge. We do not offer a free collection service. We do not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit back to us. If returning you purchase by mail we recommend that you get proof of postage.

10. Before returning your purchase, please make sure the goods are in the same condition as they were originally sent. Unwanted items must be returned in a fully resalable condition, which includes being in the original, unmarked and undamaged packaging. Items must not have been used (or assembled if applicable) in any way. ID Furniture Ltd retains the right to refuse a refund on any item not deemed to be resalable.

Please return your purchase to the address below; please make sure to include your customer order details with the package, as we cannot process the returned goods without these.

11. Custom made orders cannot be returned or exchanged, unless faulty. If you decide to cancel your order before delivery, you will only be refunded 50% of the original purchase value. We will not take custom made goods of merchantable quality back, once they have been delivered.   Your statutory rights are unaffected.

 
12. Our furniture comes as standard with a 1 year manufacturer guarantee, which we ID Furniture Ltd will honour in the form of replacement or parts and labour, this guarantee, does not cover any/all costs incurred through delivery.

For warranty issues please put your request in writing by letter, fax or email.   Please remember to include your order number and proof of purchase.

13. All design classics displayed within our website are high quality reproductions. We do not sell originals, but reproduce our furniture to the highest standard in the same style of the original design.

The names Charles & Ray Eames, Eero Aarnio, Isamu Noguchi, Mies Van Der Rohe, Le Corbusier, Eileen Gray, Verner Panton, Harry Bertoia, George Nelson, Marcel Breuer, Shin & Tomoko Azumi, Joseph Hoffman, Arne Jacobsen, Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, Eero Saarinen, Gerrit Thomas Rietveld, Hans J Wegner, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Poul Kjaerholm, Poul Volther, are only used to describe the characteristics of the goods made to their designs, and not as trade marks.

ID Furniture Ltd does not own the Trade Marks to any original designs.

14. All material contained within the site are the copyright of ID Furniture Ltd All rights are reserved. No part of the web site may be reproduced, translated, adapted, used or distributed in any material, form or medium.

15. Price information, availability information and product description information is subject to change without notice.

16. ID Furniture Ltd reserve the right to cancel and/or refuse any order received that may or is involved in any fraudulent activity. Any such involvement which is detected, we will forward to the fraud prevention merchant services and they will undergo a fraud investigation which may also involve police investigation.

17. We do our best to ensure that information on the site is correct, ID Furniture Ltd do not warrant or represent any information viewed and accessed on the site is accurate, current and/or complete. We do not in any circumstance accept any liability whatsoever for error or omission.

18. In the unlikely event a product has an incorrect price ID Furniture Ltd reserves the right to cancel and/or refuse your order. This also applies if your order has been received by us and confirmed by our head office. Furthermore, if your credit card has been charged we will immediately refund back on to your card which you made the payment with, the full amount. If this situation arises ID Furniture Ltd will email you as soon as it has come to our knowledge by email.

19. ID Furniture Ltd including its employees and/or directors and/or any associated representatives will not be liable for any damages, loss of income and/or profit and/or any third party claims and/or damages and/or loss of property. This also applies to all damages of any kind, including compensatory and/or indirect and/or direct and/or consequential, whether this may arise in connection and/or out of connection with the use of ID Furniture web site.

These terms and conditions and your use of this site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
